If I suddenly vanish off the web for a week or two, don’t panic. I’m moving a few towns over and it might take a while to get our wireless up and running again. So if you email me or send me a message through the blog and don’t get a timely reply, that’s why. Hopefully this won’t take too long.
In the works, I have a review for Buenos Aires’s “The Lake Affect” and something from Between Interval as part of the Ambient Bliss series that kicked of here on the blog last month. Eventually, expect part three in the Early Kraftwerk series.
In the meantime, I’d like to correct something I posted a while back. I mentioned that Kurt Cobain had been working on solo material prior to his death but as more facts find their way into the sunshine, it looks less true. He had hundreds of cassettes packed with demos, as if that wasn’t evident enough when “With the Lights Out” was released. I’m not sure exactly how the initial report of emerging solo material could have been falsified, I mean they allegedly interviewed a former guitar player from Hole, but either way, sorry if that story annoyed you. It certainly irritated me when I heard it wasn’t true.
All right, until next time, see ya.
