Howdy folks!
Again, sorry for such a long gap between updates. I have some stuff in the works but here are some groovy stuff to hold you over until then:
Ian Kahl is back but this time, with a book of poetry! Entitled “Anxiety is a Rambling Dagger,” is a glimpse into the world of “anxiety, panic, compulsion, obsession, depression, and addiction…” It’s powerful stuff and well worth a read. I myself have wild anxiety and I found some solace in this, so hopefully you will too. Paperback copies are ready to purchase here! https://www.createspace.com/3950805 (scope out Ian’s music from an earlier post here).
Ghost Town Jenny is kicking off a small tour of sorts. For those unfamiliar with this neat project, check it out here! It’s hard to pin point the exact blend of genre… perhaps a mix of indie rock, dub and electronic/trip hop…? Either way, this is some sweet stuff. If you’re in the San Francisco area, you can catch Ghost Town Jenny on Saturday. Or, if you’re in Iceland, check them out at the Iceland Airwaves festival in Reykjavik from October 31 through November 4th. If I lived close to either of these places, I’d totally be there. This is some great new sounds to check out for sure!

Straight Red, for all of you rock fans out there, is putting on a show on August 12th at Studio Seven in Seattle in a Battle of the Bands. If you’re in the area, GO SEE THEM. If you haven’t heard the sounds of Straight Red before, scope them out here.
The Coherent ENcoherence have released some tunes! Up on our soundloud, we’ve posted some older bits from our first CD and some newer material we worked on over the summer. You can download some of these sound collages for free! Huzzah!
